# Managing Your Plan

> Manage your Julius subscription: change plan, update payment methods, cancel, and manage team workspaces.

Julius offers a Free plan as well as several paid plans. You can compare plans and see current prices at [julius.ai/pricing](https://julius.ai/pricing).

  1. Navigate to the [Subscription](https://julius.ai/settings/subscription) page
  2. Click **Upgrade** under the plan you wish to upgrade to
  3. Complete your purchase on the Stripe checkout screen

  Upgrades take effect immediately, and your billing cycle resets to the upgrade date.

  <Note>
    If you have credits remaining from your previous plan, they stack with your new plan's credits. Existing credits keep their original expiration date — the end of the billing period in which they were granted.

<Accordion title="Downgrading Your Subscription" defaultOpen="true" icon="arrow-down">
  1. Navigate to the [Subscription](https://julius.ai/settings/subscription) page
  2. Click **Downgrade** under the plan you wish to switch to
  3. Confirm the change

  Downgrades take effect at the **end of your current billing period**. You'll keep access to your current plan's features and credits until then, and your new plan begins on your next billing date.

  Any unused portion of your current plan is automatically applied as a credit toward your next invoice — no separate refund is issued.

<Accordion title="Switching Between Monthly and Annual Billing" defaultOpen="true" icon="calendar">
  You can switch your billing cadence from the [Subscription](https://julius.ai/settings/subscription) page.

  * **Monthly → Annual:** Takes effect immediately. Your billing cycle resets to the switch date.
  * **Annual → Monthly:** Takes effect at the end of your current annual billing period.

<Accordion title="Canceling Your Subscription" defaultOpen="true" icon="hand">
  1. Navigate to the [Subscription](https://julius.ai/settings/subscription) page
  2. Click **Invoices and Payment Methods** to open your billing portal
  3. Click **Cancel plan**
  4. If eligible, you can select **End subscription immediately and receive a refund**

  After canceling, your plan stays active until the end of your current billing period.

    **Subscribed through the App Store or Google Play?** You must cancel through Apple or Google directly — canceling on the website won't stop those charges. See our [full cancel guide](/help-center/cancel-subscription) for step-by-step instructions.

<Accordion title="Canceling a Team Workspace" defaultOpen="true" icon="users">
  If you have a Business or Enterprise plan with a team workspace and want to remove it:

  1. Navigate to the [Subscription](https://julius.ai/settings/subscription) page
  2. Navigate to the **Teams** tab

  3. Scroll down to the **Delete Team** section

  1. Navigate to the [Subscription](https://julius.ai/settings/subscription) page
  2. Click **Invoices & Payment Methods**
  3. Click **Add payment method** to change your current payment method

  4. Click **Update information** to update your billing information (e.g. name, address, company, VAT info)

<Accordion title="Subscription Renewals" defaultOpen icon="money-bill-1">
  Your subscription will auto-renew monthly or annually, depending on the type of subscription you've purchased.

  Canceling the subscription yourself will keep the subscription active until the end of your billing period.

  Subscribed through the App Store or Play Store? All plan changes — upgrades, downgrades, and cancellations — must be made through [Apple](https://www.apple.com/app-store/) or [Google](https://play.google.com/store/apps?hl=en_US\&pli=1) directly.
