# Notebooks Sunset

> Notebooks have been sunset — here's why, and how to migrate your workflows to chat.

# Notebooks have been sunset

Notebooks were built in 2024 to help break complex analysis into step-by-step workflows. Since then, AI models have gotten much better at handling long, multi-step tasks directly from a single detailed prompt — often faster, with fewer credits, and with better results than the original notebook workflow.

For that reason, we've sunset Notebooks and are focused on making the core Julius chat experience even better for complex, multi-step analysis.

## How to migrate from Notebooks

If you currently have a Notebook you'd like to keep, email us at **[team@julius.ai](mailto:team@julius.ai)** from the email associated with your Julius account and our team can help you export it.

In most cases, migrating is simple: take the instructions and prompts from your Notebook and give them directly to Julius in chat.
