Launching the Julius Robinhood Portfolio

By: Julius AI Team · 2 min read

This is not meant to be financial advice. As a marketing experiment, we are giving Julius $1000 in a brokerage account on Robinhood to see how it performs. This gives us a chance to show Julius at its best: using proprietary financial data from the Financial Datasets API, running automations, performing agentic research, handling modeling and in-depth analysis, and more.

The Setup

To start, Julius is running on Julius 1.2 Max with High Reasoning. We have also built out a Custom Agent to give Julius a "brain" for this experiment. In the Custom Agent, we instruct Julius about key signals such as earnings events, analyst reports, risk tolerance, how to evaluate existing positions and how to make new positions.

The Goal

We hope to have new and existing users follow along with the progress of the Julius Agent in managing this new portfolio. Our goal is to educate users on the capabilities of Julius and gain understanding of new tools that Julius provides which may be helpful for analyzing and handling research with all types of data. Outside of updates on X, users can also directly track the Julius portfolio on Tradure.

Try Julius

We hope that you enjoy following along this journey, and use Julius for all of your research and asset creation needs. Whether it's using agentic search, creating reports, presentations, working in Excel, or navigating financial data, Julius is the place to help you get work done quickly.
